That rumbling feeling you felt at 4:08am last night was because SW Roanoke County experienced a 2.6 earthquake. You can see from this map where the epicenter was. I plotted out the coordinates and it falls near Hollowdale Drive.If you zoom into this map you can see there actually is a fault line running through Salem and SW County.
